Nikos Kourentzes is a professor and senior lecturer at Lancaster University and a researcher at the Lancaster Centre for Forecasting. Nikos is part of the department of Management Science at Lancaster University Management School, UK. His current research interests are in business forecasting; more specifically, he researches artificial neural networks for time series forecasting and the feature selection problem. Other research interests include temporal aggregation, model selection and combination, intermittent demand, promotional modelling, supply chain modelling and collaboration.
Nikos has been involved in research projects with companies worldwide in the retailing, energy, pharmaceutical, textile, cosmetic, chemical, and media sectors, as well as public sector services.
